This systems monitors wind monitoring to meet AS 2923 - 1987 Australian Standard for air quality applications.  The EIT instrumentation and data recorder featuring graphical display of wind characteristics. 

The system includes sensors for measuring solar radiation, temperature, humidity and has onboard computation of Sigma Theta for wind characteristics and evapotranspiration for water balance modeling.

Wind speed and direction sensors are located at 10 meters above ground level to conform to Australian Standard for the measurement of horizontal wind.

The weather station is solar powered and access via the digital (GSM) telephone network. EIT data recorder software stores weather station data in data files which can be imported to MS Access and MS Excel
