Software for R tech series data recorder
R Tech is software used to drive EIT R Tech series data recorder, ML series data recorder and EIT Direct.
R Tech now incorporates EIT Direct from web software. This software is used in conjunction with EIT web enabled field transmitters. These transmitters transmit field data to a web adress using GPRS and CDMA 1 X enabled modems.
EIT Direct will run under autopilot for 3 months after installing on a new PC. Therafter you need to obtain a registration number from us.

Various fixes and changes:
Charts were not moveable to different directories. An error message was
generated and no opportunity given to search for the changed directory. A browse
for the lost link is now included.
When a new probe was added to a recorder or network, the old data base had to be
replaced. On the RTECH itself you will still have to do a begin log if you add a
new sensor. When you try to download the extra data into a database a message is
generated to say that so many extra columns will be added to the database if you
proceed. The new data is added at the end of the database, it cannot be inserted
as extra columns within it.
The facility to create chart templates which could be used as a basis for new
charts has been added. When you are using the chart function you can right click
on the chart and either load or save the chart as a template.
There was no reminder to save a chart after it had been modified. This has been
fixed.

implements a test transmit mode. If you set the start register to 255 on the
transmit page and reboot the IPC by cycling the power, it will go into a test
transmit mode. The unit will transmit on whatever radio you have selected, at
the scan period entered and send to the node address you have entered. It sends
to start register 0 at that address. The message sent includes four sensors
which translate into a soil moisture measurement of 11.11%, 22.22%, 33.33% and
44.44%.
To exit test mode set the start register back to a valid number and recycle
power to the IPC.
