EIT Telemetry
Radios spectrums and devices used by EIT 433 MHz Telemetry - a radio spectrum that provides for licence free data transmission in EU UK Austalia and many other countries.. Maximum transmission strength in Australia is 10 mW. Radio transmission module Radiometrix. Radio module conforms to the requirements of the Australian Communications Authority radio communications class licence for low interference potential devices (LIPDs). This Australian class licence provides for the operation of transmitters in this band (433.05 to 434.79 KHz) up to a maximum equivalent radiated power (EIRP) of up to 25 mW. 476 MHz Telemetry - a radio spectrum which in Australia, allows 'licence free' data transmission at up to 5 W. The maximum amount of data that can be transmitted 'licence free' is limited to 3 seconds per hour. This is more than sufficient for monitoring soil moisture using EIT data compression and sampling technology. The EIT 5 watt radio data transmitter will provide error free data transmission for up to 50 kms in open agricultural areas. Radio types used by EIT in Australia include GME TX 3600 and Trio Datacom. 450 - 520 MHz - we are able to provide data communications using third party supplied radio data modems. In Australia we use and recommend the GME TX 3600 data radio. Our IPC device will suit a wide range of radio modems for use in most countries. 900 MHz Spread Spectrum Telemetry Licence free data transmission is provide in the bandwidth 902 - 928 MHz in many countries. Check with your country spectrum management authority. This bandwidth and radio technology, provides EIT with a mid range radio solution for data transmission. EIT uses the
Maxstream radio OEM module which we have embedded into the IPC controller
device. This controller provides data flow control from the Sentek EnviroSMART
probe to the base receiver station.
