• sensors for monitoring water quality • radio telemetry modules for local data transmission • data recording for long term data collection • GSM digital modem communication • EIT data recorder analysis software to collect and integrate water quality information from spatially different monitoring sites.
The project incorporates a network of six separate water quality monitoring stations collecting information on water pH, depth, temperature and electrical conductivity.
The base station eTech data
recorder collates local data on rainfall, water dissolved oxygen, water
depth, temperature, and electrical conductivity. Digital GSM communications
allows remote real time data viewing. The base station and outlying satellite
water quality monitoring stations are all solar powered.
