The Environment I.T. eTech 6P data recording system is set to lead the world in environmental field data collection technologies. 

Don’t be fooled by its compact size. The eTech 6P is a complete and powerful data collection and production platform with 2 Mb of RAM data storage. That’s 50,000 records for the standard six channel recorder ! 

With high precision 16 bit processing and floating point calculations the eTech 6P can tackle demanding computations such as wind vector analyses, evapotranspiration calculations and many other modeling exercises.

The eTech 6p features an innovative touch panel interface with user friendly operation.

The integrated analogue and digital inputs use Binder IP66 plugs for connecting sensors to the recorder. Once connected it’s just a matter of using the screen pull down menus to set up and start recording.

Data recorders :
Each data recorder is designed for ease of use. All sensors connect to the recorder using environmental plugs. There are no terminal strips to worry about. All recorders are supplied standard with solar panel power inputs and RS 232 communication port. Real time sensor data can be displayed by pressing the display button. EIT designs and manufactures a range of recorders with 6 to 18 channel inputs.

The recorder is supplied standard to accept 0 - 1 volt analogue input, digital and counter channels. Selection between digital and analogue input is user defined using the recorder software.

Sensors :
EIT designs and manufactures a suite of sensors for environmental monitoring. The sensors are fully factory calibrated at manufacture and connect to the recorders using high quality gold plated connectors for quick, error free setup. Additional sensors interfaced to the recorders include wetness, UV radiation, barometric pressure, conductance, capacitance, voltage, and water level.

Software :
Each recorder is supported with full featured software for Windows 98/95/3.1 format. The software will allow the operator to setup the station, display, retrieve and analyse the collected data. The Windows version (WINMM) includes full data base and graphics functions for data presentation. This version also features an 'Auto-Pilot' mode that provides for automatic network dialing. Retrieved data is automatically appended to the database. Software includes Export file options, which provides the user an option of sending collected data to additional database, spreadsheets or wordprocessor packages.
