EIT provides the control and monitoring software for the multimillion dollar natural gas production facilities at four gas fields in Central Queensland, Australia. Gas production facilities are located at Rolleston, Arcturus, Yellowbank and Kincora.
 

The EIT SCADA system monitors and controls : 2000 pressure, temperature and flow points along 400 kms of pipelines Gas quality via four gas chromatographs One 50 kW power generation plant Two 5 MW power generation plants Thirteen compressors for gas compression to 9000 Kpa. EIT SCADA provides control of the 2000 monitoring points through thirteen programmable logic control units (PLCs) located across the four gas production areas. PLCs used include those manufactured by Allen-Bradley, Omron, Honeywell and Taylor. Process control information from each production facility is integrated via a radio data telemetry network based on Trio radio modems. Gas from the four production fields is fed into the Queensland State Government's gas line which provides gas to the Central Queensland industrial city of Gladstone.

The system provides compression, temperature control and quality of oil and gas via a network of PLCs and 400 monitoring points
