Data presentation
( updated August 2003 to include multi level soil moisture sensors )

EIT provides software data reporting by  reports, graphs and GIS style thematic mapping.

Normal sensor data can be displayed in the EIT graphics program.

For viewing soil moisture data we have developed a special mapping module which allows easy viewing of data at the various monitoring points throughout the telemetry network.  Using the Mapping module you can position soil probes on an image of your monitoring area using simple click and drag actions.

Each icon representing a soil probe is colour coded to represent soil moisture level. A "mouse - over" function will display a soil probe ( shown lin lower section of image to the left ) with sensor colour coded according to mots recent soil moisture value.

Stacked soil graphs - soil profile data can be viewed using a stacked line graphs. Stacked line graphs show the soil moisture value for each sensor in the soil profile when using multi level soil moisture probes such as Sentek EnviroSMART and EasyAG sensors. This information can then be used to study characteristics of soil water movement within the root zone and the effectiveness of rainfall and irrigation events.

Summed soil moisture graphs- data from all sensors in the soil profile can be summed to derive a interpolate quantitative value of volumetric soil water content in the soil profile.
Combined graphs - soil water data can be displayed with rainfall.
Weather data cab be displayed in real time in a dashboard style layout.
